"do" seems more of a command, an imperative rather than an
interrogative. Americans are far too concerned about action and doing
and have gone too far to the side of a busyness for its own sake (hence
"business" and finance as our first priorities).

the "y" is deceptive here since usually the vowels are a-e-i-o-u and
sometimes y. the you could be the "u" in this list, or it could be a
sly "i" in the cryptonym IOU. I have enough IOUs circulating to know
better than to get involved in this one.

The rationale for interrupting this query derives most from the
displeasure experienced when the first thought was a cliche: "with my
hands." I would prefer that the culture stored its readymade phrases in
a databank where I could look them up as needed, rather than to have them
occupying space in my cranium and sensibility.
