In many respects vitruvius, ever the danseuse, plumbs great depths of
feeling, but a more accurate answer to the first question is this.
Lately vitruvius has been rummaging through her wardrobe in search of
something full-bodied yet flimsy for her new Arabian veil dance. She is
currently attuned to the texture of cloth.
vitruvius is self-centred, so it is hard for her to visualise valéry at
the key-board. However, vitruvius observes among most key-board people a
gloomy slope to the shoulders, a sag in the lines of the neck, a slack
posture that suggests an unattractive hump of the back. But vitruvius
thinks valéry is holding herself up.
vitruvius frowns at the mention of age. vitruvius once heard that
certain French women add between five and fifteen years to their real
age in order to impress people who will then say "goodness, doesn't she
look marvellous for a woman of 56?" valéry ought to relax about the
issue of age.
vitruvius hesitates to say that valéry is a natural woman, because we're
dealing with the internet. Biologists tell vitruvius that there are two
sexes. But vitruvius thinks there are in fact three: male, female and
vitruvius.
