Synopsis:

«Paris-Tokyo /Tokyo-Paris» version 1 is an interactive video installation:

10 artists (5 from France, 5 from Japan) are shooting their daylife with a video cam during one day whithout any aesthetics effects. All of these images are saved in a computer databank. Then in the installation, people will be able to see all of these videos and take printed snapsot, images and videostills from them.
These images are printed when people want and are falling down to the floor from the room ceiling. An images accumulation is apperaing on the floor.
A new poetic opposition is born between daylife dynanism (videos) and static memory (images on the floor)

Materials:

- A pocket digital video camera
- A color photo printer
- An acquisition video card
- Specific software
- A Pentium II PC
